    Nepalgunj

     

    Begin your day with a spiritual journey as we visit the revered Shri-Pashupatinath Temple and the awe-inspiring Budhanilkantha Temple, also known as the Temple of Sleeping Vishnu. These sacred sites hold deep cultural and religious significance, offering a glimpse into Nepal's rich heritage.

    After experiencing the tranquility and spiritual ambiance of these temples, return to your hotel to pack up your luggage. Our team will then assist you in transferring to the domestic airport for your flight to Nepalgunj, a scenic journey lasting approximately 55 minutes.

    Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, our representatives will be there to greet you and escort you to your hotel. Check-in and unwind after your day of exploration, ready to continue your adventure in this vibrant city.

    Simikot

     

    Rise early for another exciting day of your journey. We'll transfer you to the Nepalgunj Airport in the early morning. From there, embark on a scenic 50-minute flight to Simikot, where you'll be greeted by breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

    Upon arrival in Simikot, continue your journey with a thrilling 20-minute helicopter ride to Hilsa. Enjoy the panoramic vistas of the rugged landscapes below as you soar through the skies to your destination.

    Upon reaching Hilsa, settle into your hotel and unwind after the day's adventures. Take some time to acclimate to the higher altitude and prepare for the experiences that await you in this remote and picturesque location.

    Purang

     

    Today, your journey continues with a brief trek from Hilsa to Sher, where you'll cross the Karnali River. This crossing marks your entry into Tibet, offering a glimpse into the unique landscapes and cultures of this region.

    After crossing the river, embark on a scenic drive through the Tibetan plateau, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After approximately an hour, arrive in Taklakot (Purang), your destination for the day.

    Once in Taklakot, settle into your hotel and unwind after your trek and drive. Take some time to explore the surroundings and acclimate to the higher altitude. Overnight, rest and recharge for the adventures that lie ahead in Tibet.

    Purang

     

    Enjoy a well-deserved day of relaxation and acclimatization in Purang. Take advantage of this free day to explore the local surroundings at your own pace and further adjust to the higher altitude.

    Consider embarking on a Purang Excursion to discover the charm and beauty of this unique Tibetan town. Explore the local markets, interact with the friendly locals, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the region.

    Alternatively, you may choose to simply unwind at your hotel, taking in the serene surroundings and enjoying some downtime. Use this opportunity to rest and recharge before continuing your journey through Tibet.

    Mansarovar

     

    Embark on an exhilarating journey from Purang to Mansarovar, beginning with a scenic one-and-a-half-hour drive to Chiu Gompa. Upon arrival, you'll commence the sacred Mansarovar Parikrama (circumambulation) aboard an ECO Coach.

    During the Parikrama, partake in the holy bath and Pooja (worship) rituals, immersing yourself in the spiritual significance of this revered pilgrimage. As you journey around the sacred lake, soak in the breathtaking natural beauty and spiritual ambiance that surrounds you.

    After completing the Parikrama, retire for the night at an Ashram near Mansarovar. Take this opportunity to reflect on the day's experiences and connect with the divine in this tranquil setting. Rest well, as your journey continues with more spiritual adventures awaiting you tomorrow.

    Darchen

     

    Commence your day with an early morning Pooja (worship ceremony) at Mansarovar, offering prayers and seeking blessings in the serene surroundings of this sacred lake.

    Following the Pooja, embark on a scenic one-hour drive to Darchen, a significant pilgrimage town located near Mount Kailash. As you journey through the picturesque landscapes, take in the majestic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

    Upon reaching Darchen, settle into your hotel and unwind after your travels. Take some time to explore the town and soak in the spiritual ambiance that permeates the air.     Driaphuk

     

    Today marks the beginning of your Kailash Parikrama, a sacred pilgrimage that holds immense spiritual significance. Depart from Darchen and embark on a 20-minute journey to Yam Dwar, the starting point of the Parikrama.

    From Yam Dwar, begin your journey on foot towards Driaphuk, the first leg of the Kailash Parikrama. As you trek along the holy trail, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Himalayas, immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance and reflect on the significance of this pilgrimage.

    Upon reaching Driaphuk, settle into the guesthouse for the night. Take this time to rest and rejuvenate after your trekking journey, preparing yourself for the spiritual experiences that await you on the remainder of the Kailash Parikrama.

    Day-09

    Zuthulphuk

     

    Today's journey is a significant leg of the Kailash Parikrama, so begin your trek from Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk as early as possible to make the most of the day. This challenging trek will take approximately 8 to 9 hours to complete.

    As you trek, you will traverse the high mountain pass known as Dolma-La, which stands at an elevation of 5670 meters. This part of the journey may be physically demanding due to the high altitude and rugged terrain, but the spiritual rewards are immense.

    During your trek, take the opportunity to visit Ganesh Kund and Gauri Kund, two sacred sites revered by pilgrims for their association with Hindu mythology. These serene lakes provide a moment of reflection and spiritual connection amidst the awe-inspiring landscapes.

    After a full day of trekking, arrive at Zuthulphuk and settle into the guesthouse for the night. Reflect on the challenges and triumphs of the day's journey, and rest well in preparation for the final leg of the Kailash Parikrama tomorrow.

    Day-10

    Simikot

     

    Today marks the conclusion of your Kailash Parikrama journey. Begin by trekking for approximately 3 hours, concluding your trek at the Mani Wall, a significant landmark along the pilgrimage route. Take a moment to offer prayers and reflect on the spiritual significance of completing this sacred journey.

    After concluding the trek, embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Sher, where you'll begin the process of crossing the border between Tibet and China. From there, continue on to Hilsa in Nepal, where you'll board a helicopter for a lift to Simikot.

    Arrive in Simikot and settle into the guesthouse for the night, reflecting on the incredible experiences and spiritual insights gained during your Kailash Parikrama journey. Rest well and prepare for your journey back home, carrying the blessings and memories of this sacred pilgrimage with you.

    Simikot to Nepalgunj

     

    Begin your day with an early morning flight from Simikot to Nepalgunj. From Nepalgunj, continue your journey with a flight to Kathmandu.

    Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and settle in for the night. Take this opportunity to rest and reflect on the incredible experiences of your pilgrimage to Mount Kailash.

    Enjoy your overnight stay in Kathmandu, reminiscing about the sacred journey and cherishing the memories made along the way.

    Extra accommodation & food charges in Nepalgunj, Simikot and Hilsa, if the flight is cancelled due to bad weather conditions/ natural calamity and unforeseen circumstances.

    • Trip to Kailash Mansarovar is an adventure travel into a remote Himalayan destination with alien weather &

    geographical conditions. Unpredictable weather in Tibet sector may cause in delay flights. In this case any to & fro

    flight tickets made by tourists has to bear the Cancellation/ Postponement charges.

    • Delay extra accommodation, food charges has to be cleared at respective places directly .

    Doli/Horse Charges at Parikrama will be approx Rs 30000/ per person  to be paid directly at respective places if

    required.  We suggest you to carry sufficient warm clothes, canvas shoes, raincoat, cameras,dry fruits , personnel

    medicines & Torch. Please follow the timings & schedule with the accompanying guide/ Driver.     

     

    Important notes:

    • The scan copy of passport; front page (photo page), last page (address page)  and color scan of MRP format Photo must be sent prior to 30 days of Yatra.
    • As per the rule, Travel Invitation Letter (Permit) will be issued and received before 15-10 days of the Yatra date. The Physical Passport must be sent  by courier (Blue Dart) or hand over at the address for the VISA Procedure. (address will be forwarded at the time)
    • The passport of Pilgrims will be hand over at Nepalgunj (Heli- Route) and at Kathmandu (Overland Route). We advise all pilgrims to carry Election Card as optional traveling document to fly Kathmandu.
    • Pilgrims Crossing India and Entering to Nepal by road are requested to carry any Photo ID issued by GOVT. of India.

    Terms & Conditions

    1. The Tours as mentioned are operated by A/c. Cars, Innova, Tempo Travellers, Mini & Large Tata/Ashok Leyland & Volvo Coaches depending on number of passengers travelling on the particular journey date.
    2. This ticket should be produced and would be collected by the company at the time of boarding.
    3. Timings mentioned in the tour program are approximate and are subject to change.
    4. Passengers are requested to be punctual. No refund will be made if the  passengers do not come in time at pickup point for what so ever reason.
    5. Children above 3 years of age will be charged full fare. It is advised, Children to  take full seat for long journey.  Children below 3 years who have not been charged would not be provided seats.
    6. Purchase entrance tickets from the monuments directly.
    7. Tourist will carry their luggage from vehicle parking lot of place of stay at their   own responsibility.
    8. Conveyance charges from the Vehicle parking lots to monuments / Hotels & any other place where the vehicle cannot reach due to traffic regulations will be borne by the passenger themselves.
    9. The management will not be responsible for any loss of articles in the vehicle or  outside during the tour.
    10. The company will not be responsible in any manner of any delay or inconvenience  caused to the tourists during the journey in case of breakdown of the vehicle,  failure of A/C or due to any unforeseen reason like traffic jams / Landslides / VVIP movement, which might be beyond the control  of the management and&ldquoNO REFUND&rdquo will be made to the tourists.In such  circumstances some of the places may not be shown & Food and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the tourist directly.
    11. Passengers are requested to wait at the pickup point given, if the vehicle is late,  still if the vehicle does not reach within twenty minutes then please contact  Local office immediately for necessary action.

    12. The management reserve reserves the right to make changes &rsquoen-route or omit  any place of visit if it becomes necessary.
    13. The management holds the right to shift the tour from bus to cabs/mini bus for  any foreseen reason at any point of time without canceling the tour FOR WHICH  NO REFUND WILL BE MADE. SEATING CAPACITY OF A/C DELUXE, CAN BE ANY  TYPE  OF VEHICLE.
    14. Rao Travels India Pvt Ltd. reserves the right to change the fares (if it becomes necessary) due to any increase in Government taes, fuel or any other incidental charges.  In such a case, New Fare would be applicable from the tour departure date and not the fare while booking of tour.
    15. Checkout time in most of the hotels is 12 Noon.  Arrangements from 12 noon onwards are made at all places wherever night halts during the journey.  If the vehicle reaches before 12 Noon, only fresh up arrangements are made before the room is allotted.  Accommodation is provided for stay only and all additional services such as room heaters, snacks, food laundry, etc will be paid by the tourist directly to the hotel.
    16. Tourists can make purchases from anywhere they like the company is not  responsible for any kind of purchases and not recommends any particular shop.
    17. No compensation will be available, if passenger does not take food / accommodation during the tour where the fare is inclusive of food / sharing accommodation.
    18. in triple sharing accommodation extra bed (matress) only will be provided in a double bedded room.
    19. Any suggestions/ complaints about the tour/ vehicle/ guide/ driver/helper/ staff  may please be communicated to the management at  inforaotravels.com  or corporate raotravels.com
    20. No seat number is allotted in same day tours. Passengers can seat on first come  first serve basis, if seat numbers are not allotted.
    21. Any cancellation will be accepted on in writing/e-mail/ fax along with timings to   be mention in letter.
    22. Any refunds will be made through cheque only favoring the passengers name in  ticket as mentioned.
    23.  Cash coupon may be redeemed as a refund to your respective Credit/Debit Card account with in 30 days of the ticket cancellation.  The amount will be credited in your account within 8 to 10 working days after the refund initiation. The refund cash coupon amount would carry a Payment Gateway transaction charge of 5(For E-Ticket Only).

    • 50% of the total package cost should be paid at least 90 days prior to Yatra
    • Payment can be made by Bank Transfer to the Company Account.
    • Remaining amount should be paid 30 days prior to the Yatra starting date.

    Cancellation Policy

    Cancellation:

    All notice of cancellation must be sent to our official email address (verbal cancellation will not be accepted). 

    The following cancellation will be applicable;

     

    • Before 27 days of tour departure date or once travel permit is applied:  25% of total amount will be charged.
    • Before 15 days of tour departure date: 50% of total amount will be charged.
    • Before 7 days and less of tour departure date: 100% of total amount will be charged.
    • No show: 100% of total amount will be charged.

     

    Above rules are applicable as per the rules and regulation of Tibet Tourism Bureau, China (CTTB), and Foreign Exchange Center (FEC).
